What is the school site council?

The School Site Council is a decision-making body comprised of school personnel, students and community members who oversee and allocate funding for various instructional purposes. These include conferences, curricular trips, instructional materials, and technology that directly relate to increased student achievement. Council members will decide how funds and resources are used to carry out the goals and objectives that align with the Single Plan for Student Achievement. The Council is also responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Plan and evaluating the results.
