English Language Learners Program
Rm. 135 Ms. P. Rendon, ELL Coordinator The LAUSD English Language Learners Program addresses the special needs of identified limited or non English speakers. Assessments are given at various times during the year in order to identify program participants. Then appropriate ESL placement is ensured for all students. Our ESL classes range from entry level ESL1A through ESL Level 4 advanced. With the implementation of our ESL curriculum, High Point, the ELD Standards, use of the LAUSD pacing plan, and portfolios, students successfully reach reclassification status in a timely manner.
